Report
Originally, the climb was going to be Tinto, but the wind was too strong for that and so we drove down to Largs to climb Rigging Hill. From Largs, we followed the Gogo burn which was in spate. Fortunately, there was a fully functional footbridge that allowed us to cross safely.
We had lunch near the summit of the hill and then descended towards Largs down a different slope where there were good spots for Karrimor bag sliding. Ally Blair proved to be the most 'insane' participant on this activity and it was decided that a 'sliding' proficiency badge for the activity would be a worthwhile addition to the Scout Proficiency Badge list.
We negotiated the woods to a bridge pretending that we were going through enemy-infested territory, then assaulted the cars where Gordon and Euan (who had gone on ahead) were waiting.
A visit to Nardini's occurred, then we drove home.
