Report
As we were preparing to start the ascent, we met Malcolm Banks as he ahs his school (Lomond) were setting off up Ben Lui at the same time from the Butterbridge car park.
The weather today was pretty threatening with cloud over the summits and a cold wind. There was no snow to trouble us however.
Glip acted as a 'free lance' today drifting between the groups as they climbed. Christian took the lead group along with Christopher and were first to the summit. The others arrived when the wind was less fierce, but Gordon Hendry still impressed by staying in shorts all the way up.
In the past, the descent was tricky because of the cliff about a third of the way down the ridge. However, there is now a clear path that allows groups to descend safely in poor visibility
Wendy did not climb today and stayed in the car with Carrie Gibson. Apparently they met Andrew Parker and David Hannah of the 6th on cycles.
On the way back home, some of us visited the Tarbert tea room for refreshments.
