Report
After spending spent the night at the Crianlarich Youth Hostel, we drove north to Auch intending to climb Beinn Odhar from a new angle. However, Andrew was unimpressed at the amount of snow on the mountain and Alan was keen to climb An Caisteal, so that's where we went.
During the ascent, Glip managed to leave his camera back on the track and had to descend about 500' to recover it. He was lucky to find it, but managed to catch up with the rest of the group who had continued along the ridge.
Near the summit we were overtaken by a group from Lomond school which was a bit irksome!
We spent a fair time at the summit having lunch and snow fights, then descended by sledge and karrimor bag down into the coire and out. Snow conditions here were perfect - not too soft and not too hard, and so it was a superb descent.
