Report (written by Robbie Mochrie)
After arriving at the foot of the mountain, we were given an excellent demonstration on how to potentially kill a small objectionable (like a Scout) by Rivet, who discovered a sharp agricultural (?) implement. We started the climb which was fairly steep, and kept coming across drainage ditches. We kept plodding steadfastly onwards, eventually coming to a major burn, which we followed up to some cliffs about 2600 feet up where we stopped briefly for lunch.
After lunch, we took a compass bearing and moved on into the mist. At a height of 3650 feet, we came to a crevice which we all eventually passed. As we left, Graham Wright accidentally launched Rivets water bottle into the air ( recovered during the descent). After a little climb, we reached the summit and finished lunch. On the way down, Robbie Mochrie left a map and compass during a moss fight. When he admitted to his stupidity, he was called an idiot and several other things. Eventually, the map and compass was retrieved.
Afterwards, Glip examined Graham Wright on Advanced Scout Standard mapping. When he finished, he realised that we would miss our rendezvous with Peter Bennett at Crianlarich if we did not hurry. So we all ran down the hill, the result being that we arrived in Crianlarich half an hour early!
We all went to Bridge of Orchy, where we put up the tents and had a meal consisting of stodge, ditto and stodge. We went to bed.
