Unfortunately, there is no record of this particular day. However, it is possible that Merry did not climb today. There is also only one photograph of the climb, which showed that there was unsettled weather consisting of showers and sunny periods. The photo was taken at the summit of the Pap of Glencoe, before a smaller group continued on to climb Sgor nam Fiannaidh (possibly Frodo, K.Wallace, Glip, and R.McCrorie.
Another photograph was taken at the bottom which showed that Mark Sinclair, Richard Terry and Ross Gillespie had gained their Everest scarves, while James Gatherer gained his Double Everest.
